Herbert Terry 1227 in Black

Black Herbert Terry 1227

This timeless classic is a Herbert Terry and Sons 1227 lamp. This lamp has been electrically restored using a high-quality, 3-core braided fabric cable. Complete with safety bayonet bulb holder and low energy bulb.

This particular lamp is a fine example of the Herbert Terry 1227 in black. The base and arms of the lamp are the original paintwork. The shade has been professionally refurbished in a manner that replicates the original black finish. Also, it is important to note that this model is an early version of the 1227, which can be noted by the steel linkage strip (later models replaced this with nylon) and the roll-lipped shade.

This lamp comes complete with a low-energy LED bulb, a standard British 3-pin plug, and an antique brass switched bulb holder.

Please study the photos as they form part of the description. There are a few age-related marks that are to be expected with a lamp of age
